Is language here to stay?

I disagree with how "language" is defined in this question.
In 100,000 years, will language still be the primary way of representing and communicating ideas? This question is conditional on there being intelligent being(s) at that time.
Language is the combination of discrete symbols in linear order to represent meaning to a listener who understands the rules for interpreting them. Some counterexamples are embedding vectors, and squawking, which convey meaning but do not use discrete symbols (though they may be serialized as such).
(This question isn't about aliens.)
