Currently, Uber's Waymo service area in Austin does not include Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. This market predicts whether Waymo will announce an expansion to include the airport by November 15, 2025. Resolution will be based on official announcements from Waymo or reputable news sources.
Edit: The geofence was expanded on July 17th, 2025. It currently has its eastern border just touching the airport's larger geographical boundaries, and includes the cemetery next to it, but not the airport itself. The airport has a dedicated taxi and rideshare area, but no infrastructure specific to driverless vehicles, and as far as I'm aware, no plans to add any.
