to resolve YES, the competition must:

  • be majority in-person

  • have a prize

  • have ≥ two teams in attendance (previous competitions have had 30-80 competitors in 3-5 competitors per team)

  • be branded as an OPTIC competition

  • have forecasting or prediction markets as some main component

any city in which we haven't hosted such a competition by july 1 2024 resolves NO.

Several EA groups in the Netherlands are setting up forecasting teams and would be interested in this

i'm currently at 90% for each of boston and bay area, 75% for london, 40% for NYC, 30% for DC, and 20% for chicago.

@saulmunn oh, and like 10% for anything else
