D'Esposito must be reelected in the House for this to count; if he wins the New York Senate election this resolves to "No". However, given potential redraws, this resolves to "Yes" if he runs from any district in New York (including outside of Long Island) and wins the general election.
Here are a few very unlikely edge cases and the rules for them. This resolves to "No" if D'Esposito carpetbags to a different state but somehow wins the general there. This resolves to "Yes" if D'Esposito wins as a third-party or write-in, or if he switches to a Democrat and wins.
