this is the game: https://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/2531310/
I played tlou1 and it was great, but im not sure if its the right decision to play the second one since i've seen mixed reviews and games are often buggy on release.
resolution criteria:
if i played at least 3 hours after the first week, i'll resolve yes if i regretted any part of it: buying or playing. or no if not.
if i played less than 3 hours or didnt buy the game, this market resolves N/A
Priors/Info:
-As already stated, the first game was a 9/10-10/10 imo
-i don't have much money, so the 50€ would be a pretty large investment
-my pc specs are a rx 6700 xt and a ryzen 5 7600 and i plan to play at 1440p
-i already watched the first 1-2 hours of a tlou2 let's play and a certain major character death (if you know, you know) didnt direcly turn me off. The game looked quite appealing to me.
-feel free to ask anything else in the comments
Update 2025-03-25 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Resolution Clarification:
Regret Threshold: Regret only counts if you believe that not spending the money or playing the game would have been a better use of your time and money.
Insignificant Flaws: Minor or isolated flaws are not enough to trigger regret.
if i played at least 3 hours after the first week, i'll resolve yes if i regretted any part of it: buying or playing. or no if not.
How bad would the game need to be to trigger regret, is any flaw no matter how small enough? Also do you have important tasks to do this week that you might regret having not done due to spending time playing the game?
@TheAllMemeingEye Any small flaw wouldn't be enough. That part was poorly phrased so i'll update the description there. Only if i think its likely that not spending the money or not playing the game would have been a better use of my time/money. Im not sure how exacly to specify where that threshold is.
And yes, i have exams in about a month, which i might want to study for. But i think its unlikely that tlou2 is the reason i don't do that enough.
