This market is an experimental commitment device about whether I will work on legal practice case opinions for at least 1 hour per day for 7 consecutive days, following specific start-time rules. Working on these legal opinions is one of the most important aspects of my studies, but also the one I currently tend to avoid. The 1-hour daily requirement is intended as a kickoff to get started each day.

1. Timeframe

• 2025-12-04 to 2025-12-10, inclusive.

2. Daily requirement

• Must work on legal practice case opinions for at least 1 hour every single day.

• The 1 hour must be consecutive, not split across multiple sessions.

3. Start time rule

• On days without appointments before 11:00AM, work must begin no later than 09:05AM.

• Any kind of appointment counts.

4. Qualifying work

• Active work on legal practice case opinions including research, writing, editing, or analysis.

5. Illness exception

• Days requiring bedrest due to physical illness are exempt.

• The timeframe extends by the number of exempt days.

6. Resolution criteria

• YES if all 7 days of required work are completed according to the rules (including any extentions).

• NO if any day is missed or the start time rule is violated on any applicable day.

• Resolution based on honor system self-assessment by me, the market creator.
