This market tracks my commitment to maintaining a consistent cleaning and tidying routine throughout 2026. Heres the previous iteration.

1. THE BASELINE RULE

On every applicable day, I must actively perform household chores for a minimum of 25 minutes.

2. DEFINITIONS

• Included: Activities that improve the state of my surroundings (e.g., tidying, cleaning, making the bed, laundry, renovating/redecorating).

• Excluded: Cooking, grocery shopping, digital organizing, etc..

3. BANKING MECHANISM

• Earn: Any minute worked beyond the daily 25-minute minimum is added to my bank.

• Spend: To skip a day entirely, I must deduct 30 minutes from the bank.

• Balance: Minutes accumulate without limit and do not expire.

4. EXEMPTIONS (NON-APPLICABLE DAYS)

4.1) The daily requirement is waived if:

• Calendar: my own and close families birthdays, christmas eve.

• Absence: I do not spend the day at home.

• Illness: I am physically ill or injured to a degree that significantly affects my ability to do chores.

• Emergency: Unforeseen events that make fulfilling the condition impossible.

4.2) During university exam period (August 5, 2026 – September 30, 2026), the market may be substituted by an add-on market with less stringent rules. A link to the market will be provided in the comments.

5. RESOLUTION CRITERIA

• Reporting: Honor System.

• Failure: If I fail to meet the minimum requirement on any applicable day and have insufficient Banked Minutes to cover the deficit, the market resolves NO.

• Success: If I maintain the routine (or cover all gaps with banked time) until Dec 31, 2026, the market resolves YES.
