Must be a hardware change and must be a model that wasn't previously available (e.g. can't just be an existing model being released in a new jurisdiction)
Must be officially announced at some time after 2023 and before 2025.
This market will remain open throughout 2024, but I will try to resolve as products are released
If Apple announces a new model/generation that isn't shipped in the calendar year (a la Vision Pro - 2023), I will still resolve that as YES
I guess the iMac Pro isn't current, but I feel like it belongs in this question. I will count an iMac with a >24" screen size that allows for better than baseline chips (e.g. M3 Pro)
If you think this should include other existing products (e.g. Mac displays) and you comment, I might add them, but I have restricted new options to avoid option fatigue
Any number of these can resolve YES
Apple's current schedule doesn't include updates to its Mac Pro and Mac Studio machines until the middle of 2025.
Even without updates, you can essentially give your Mac a second life. I've been having problems lately with memory being full and things being extremely difficult, I can definitely say that for myself. But luckily I got lucky and found https://setapp.com/how-to/clean-up-and-optimize-your-mac information on how to optimize my Mac, how to remove unnecessary things and not lose anything. Thereby increasing productivity. Because this kind of knowledge is really often needed and helps to understand.
