This market resolves Yes if Grand Theft Auto VI (the mainline title commonly referred to as “GTA VI”) becomes publicly available for purchase or download in the United States on or before May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM PT. Otherwise, it resolves No.
What counts as “released”
Live for the US public via an official channel (e.g., PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Rockstar launcher/PC storefront) or major US retailers fulfilling physical orders.
A release on any single supported platform (e.g., only Xbox Series X|S or only PS5) is sufficient.
What does not count
Preorders, preloads, early access, beta/preview builds, or limited test programs.
Leaks or broken retailer street dates affecting a limited number of copies.
Availability outside the US only.
Edge cases
If the game becomes publicly available in the US before the cutoff and is later pulled, it still counts as Yes.
Title naming variations (“GTA VI”) are acceptable so long as they clearly refer to the mainline game, not DLC, remasters, or spin-offs.
Resolution sources
Primary: Official Rockstar Games communications (Rockstar Newswire, official Rockstar social accounts) and/or Take-Two Interactive press releases.
Secondary (for confirmation as needed): US platform store listings (PlayStation/Xbox/PC) showing the game available to purchase/download now, or major US retailers fulfilling physical orders. If sources conflict, the primary sources take precedence.
