I'm not sure if it's applicable to your specific use case but my preferred format for this kind of thing is to use unlinked mc markets with answers in the format 'n1 or more', 'n2 or more', etc, and then you can resolve some answers early, and add new answers with values between eg n1 and n2 for greater precision as you narrow in on the true value

I would like to post a series of math related markers where upper and lower bounds are realized over time. Using buckets is typically I'll fitted for this task as the ranges would vary over time and I'd like the reward for increasing precision to be available through time. 

It would be real handy if there was a higher/lower market where you can set upper/lower bounds and over time resolve extremes when they are invalidated.
