Predict the outcome of match play at the 2025 Australian Open (both men's and women's matches). All times listed are CST (Central Standard Time), taken from the schedule available here.

Each match will resolve YES if the FIRST player listed advances to the next round, either by win or walkover. The match will resolve NO if the SECOND player listed advances (again either by win or walkover). A match will only resolve N/A if for some reason the match is cancelled and neither player advances. Seeded players are listed with their seed.

Example:

🇺🇸 T. Fritz (4) v. 🇫🇷 G. Monfils [Friday, 1/17 at 8:00p CST]

Will resolve YES if Fritz, seeded fourth, advances by win or walkover. Will resolve NO if Monfils advances instead.

In the case of a match being suspended due to weather or other circumstances but completed later, the market will remain open until completion.

I will try to update with additional matches over the course of the tournament.

@traders what a match! Tien, a 19-year-old American qualifier, takes out Medvedev in five sets. Top of the draw wide open for Sinner, not that he needed it. More matches updated now.

sold Ṁ18 YES

Tien gets to match point and will likely fold, typical American tennis player mentality

bought Ṁ16 YES

@Jessef0226 so harsh! but probably true :)

sold Ṁ13 YES

@polymathematic probably forgetting one or two, but feels like the last time an American got a huge upset win at a slam was Tiafoe over Nadal in 2022
