Will the House of Representatives leave on Dec. 14 and not return until the next year?

If the US House of Representatives is no longer in session in 2023 after Dec. 14, 2023 11:59:59 PM EST this will resolve YES. If a session that started on Dec. 14 goes on past midnight, or if there are additional days scheduled by congress in 2023, or a special session called for by the President (or something similar to these) this will cause it to resolve NO (as soon as possible).

I will wait to resolve YES until Dec 31, 2023 (around 8 PM EST) (this is in case the President calls for a special session before 2024).

Current calendar calls for the scheduled last day to be on Dec. 14

Edit: I had to rework this multiple times: In simple terms, if the (last) session ends on Dec 14th and there are none after, it will resolve YES.

Clarification: There must be a quorum present (in order to conduct business) for a session to qualify as being 'in session'.

The House left as scheduled (on the 14th) and they never returned, so this resolves YES

the senate is going to keep working but the house has gone home…

@mattyb and @Elliot_dev My apologies. I've fixed the resolution details to match the detail and heading description; the intent of the question is to know whether the House will keep its planned schedule (YES if so, NO if for some reason they have to work extra days).

Please re-read and let me know if there is a problem. If there is any problem with this change, let me know so I can N/A this ASAP.

Are there any "technicalities" you can foresee that might result in this resolving against the spirit of the question? Like, is there any kind of mechanism where they might say "Actually we're in session through the WHOLE MONTH but no one is going to show up," or something weird like that?

@Eliza As long as there is a quorum present I will qualify it as being in session since that is the minimum needed to conduct business. I've updated the description to include this clarification.

@Eliza I can't think of any other technicalities. If anyone comes up with one I'll add clarification.
