“I am a person with a Wikipedia page about me. I may be living or dead, fictional or nonfictional. Guess who I am!”
I will extend the close time until someone gets it.
Awards: M100 for the user who submits the last question resolved before the correct guess, and M100 for the user who submits the correct guess.
Add any of the following as an answer:
direct yes/no question (“Are they female?”)
implied yes/no question (“Politician”)
full name of the person you guess (“Rene Magritte”)
Manifold username of the user that will guess correctly first (“@oh”)
How I will resolve:
I will resolve according to my judgment, including subjective questions.
If it’s a valid question that can’t be answered YES/NO, I will resolve to 50%.
I will resolve the answer that is closest to 0% or 100% (e.g., 3% before 96%)
…but will skip over the answer submitted by the user that is closest to 0% or 100%.
I will resolve the user who correctly guesses the answer first as YES and all other users as NO.
Adding prizes/chaos! M25 per non-trivial question that stays unresolved for at least a week, if created after now.
Open to suggestions for more prizes.
@oh I think I disagree - e.g. Ronald Regan was an actor, but was not known for being an actor, he was known for being the President of the USA
Hm I can't seem to be able to add another name
edit i was out of mana i'm a goof
@AxelJacobsen I think it may be more cost effective to narrow down options at this stage before making guesses
Just realized there isn’t enough incentive to submit questions because we’re not getting enough traders. Let’s do M100 for the user who submits the last question resolved before the correct guess, and M100 for the user who submits the correct guess. How does that sound?
