This market resolves to YES if Elon Musk posts at least one tweet (or X post) from his verified account (@elonmusk) that substantively addresses gender politics, transgender issues, or women's rights before March 25, 2025.
To qualify, the tweet must explicitly discuss gender-related policy, rights, or social issues - not merely mention gender in passing or make an ambiguous reference.
Resolution will be based on publicly available posts from Musk's verified account.
Background
Elon Musk has previously commented on gender-related topics on his Twitter/X platform. Notable examples include:
In July 2020, tweeting "Pronouns suck"
In December 2020, stating "I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare"
In December 2022, posting "My Pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci"
In June 2023, declaring the word "cisgender" a slur
Promoting the documentary "What Is a Woman?" which was initially flagged as hate speech on Twitter
Resolution Criteria
This market resolves YES if before March 25, 2025, Elon Musk posts at least one tweet/X post from his verified account (@elonmusk) that substantively addresses any of the following:
Gender politics
Transgender issues
Women's rights
To qualify as "substantive," the post must explicitly discuss gender-related policy, rights, or social issues - not merely mention gender in passing or make an ambiguous reference.
The market resolves NO if:
No qualifying posts are made before the deadline
Posts are made but are too ambiguous to clearly qualify as substantively addressing the topics
Posts are deleted before resolution and cannot be verified
Resolution will be based on publicly available posts from Musk's verified account.
Considerations
Retweets/reposts without Musk's own commentary do not qualify
The content must be clearly related to gender politics, not just mentioning gender in an apolitical context
If Musk's account is suspended or deleted before the resolution date, the market will resolve based on posts made while the account was active
