Will the United States government either ban TikTok or force a sale before 2025?

Resolves the same as the original on Metaculus.

Resolution criteria

This question will resolve as Yes if, before January 1, 2025, credible sources report that the US government has taken action, through an enacted law or executive order, with at least one of the following effects:

• Forces a sale of US-facing components of TikTok effective in 365 days or less relative to the date of the act being signed into law or the executive order being published.

• Prevents the TikTok mobile app from being available in the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store
