If Bitwise reports a range rather than a specific number, the market will resolve to the answer choice that contains the midpoint of the range. If the exact number falls on the boundary between two answer choices (e.g., exactly 90 companies), the market will resolve to the lower range (in this example, "81-90").

Considerations

• The number of companies holding bitcoin can change due to various factors including new companies acquiring bitcoin, existing holders increasing or decreasing their positions, mergers and acquisitions, or companies going private.
