Context: Foo Fighters forced into 'indefinite hiatus' by Dave Grohl's shock affair scandal
Foo Fighters are reportedly set to go on an indefinite hiatus following the news that frontman Dave Grohl fathered a child outside of his marriage.
And it looks like the show would've been their last for a while if it had gone ahead, with the group reportedly deciding to take a break. A source told The Sun : "The band need time to be with their families and focus on regrouping."
“families” plural, lol. We predicted Linkin Park’s return ( /mattyb/will-linkin-park-release-a-new-albu), let’s predict the Foo Fighters!
Will the Foo Fighters reform at any point before the end of 2025?
An incomplete list of things that would constitute reforming (please suggest more!):
The band perform together, with Dave Grohl and using the name Foo Fighters (could be at an open mic night, tiny desk concert, festival, podcast…etc.)
The band announcing that Grohl is no longer a member, and performing without him (or with his replacement).
The band putting out new, unreleased music as the “Foo Fighters”.
