if you had to guess, was there a most popular costume? i haven't been in a good trick-or-treating spot for a few years—last time i was, late 2010s, it seemed superhero dominated (spider man + black panther >>> everything else, only competition being some of the disney princesses)

@Ziddletwix yes, many many 7-8 year old boys were dressed up as either generic ninjas, or this one very specific ninja in various colors (it must be some youth programming, it was novel to me).

outside of that, not really at all. of the 1-2k people that i saw on sunday, it was a real decent variety

Done with the trick-or-treat event, but there’s still a chance I’ll see costumed people before Halloween’s over!
