For the first edition of Billboard Hot 100 which counts Beyoncé’s new album (Cowboy Carter), how many songs will be in the Top 10?
Ariana Grande’s album was released on March 8th and didn’t enter the charts until the March 23rd edition. Mapping this to Beyoncé’s album (releasing on March 29th), we can likely anticipate that her songs may not appear until the April 13th edition.
You should also note that her lead single, Texas Hold ‘Em, is still #6 on the chart for the most recent (Mar 30th) edition.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé claims three songs in the Hot 100’s top 10: former two-week leader “Texas Hold ‘Em” rebounds 11-2; “II Most Wanted,” with Miley Cyrus, debuts at No. 6; and Beyoncé’s update of Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene” begins at No. 7.
