We’ve exclusive learned that Netflix is in talks to acquire the rights to a live-action adaptation of the Baldur’s Gate game series. (source)
Resolves YES if Netflix officially acquires the rights to a Baldur's Gate movie/series.
Resolves NO in February.
General D&D rights or something related to Honor Among Thieves are not sufficient. To my understanding Baldur's Gate IP is, for example, to use characters from the games (Lae'zel, Astarion, or even Sarevok from the first game).
They don't need to announce any concrete production.
