NO

I almost exclusively inline rollerskate as my last mile commute method around San Francisco. I'm pretty experienced and can brake to a full stop while cruising downhill, can hop over pot holes, etc. I use my skates for more or less everything.

I have a pretty bad insurance plan because I was attempting to save money ($75 HSA contribution looked nice at the time..) but now I have lost a lot of money from health issues due to having this plan, and will be upgrading it at the first chance that I get. My insurance plan renews in November, which is when I will be allowed to alter my plan.

There's some degree of paradox to this market because if it is heavily skewed towards YES, I may be discouraged from continuing to rollerblade as a commute method, which could cause this market to resolve NO. For that reason, if I quit or significantly reduce my rollerblading in response to this market, this market will resolve to N/A.

Additional details:
- I usually wear elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards while skating.
- I have previously fractured my elbow while rollerblading, but I was much less experienced at the time and not wearing proper protective gear.

Defining "Significantly injured":
A significant injury would be an injury that requires more than 1 doctors visit to properly treat or which involves any of the following:
- more than 4 stitches
- a broken bone
- costs more than $1000 to treat in SF (without insurance)

An example of a not-significant-enough injury:
I was at the ferry building on the embarcadero and some people were playing some music. I tried to dance in rollerblades, and while I was initially successful I ended up faceplanting and my tooth went through my bottom lip. I needed 3 stitches, and it healed in 5 days. It was ok.

Note: closing date may not yet be accurate to the date that I actually update my insurance in November, but it will be on a day in the month of November, and this market close date will update accordingly as soon as I know precisely which day it will be.

Update: I broke my wrist one month after updating the insurance plan. Crisis averted but the market was indeed quite reasonably NOT unanimous.

I did have some nasty falls including one that literally knocked the battery life out of my phone, but I didn't sustain any broken bones, crushed digits, or otherwise serious injuries. I now have a proper insurance plan!
