On the 30th of april 2023, Zuck shocked the world by revealing his impressive 5K time of 19:34. But the question is: will I be able to beat Zuck's 5K PB any time before the 1st of October 2024?

Resolution criteria:

• Zuck's fastest publically known 5K time is 19:34, currently this is the time to beat, however, if he runs a faster time than this, that time will become the new time to beat.

• Resolves to YES if I beat his fastest 5K time on any day before the 1st of October 2024 (does not have to be in an official race)

• Resolves to NO if I fail to do this for any reason, including injury

The Competition:

• Mark Zuckerberg - Billionaire tech founder

• 5K PB of 19:34

• Had surgery to repair a ruptured ACL in early november 2023

• Ran a 21:02 5K on the 21st of April 2024

Me:

• University student

• 5K PB of 23:26

• Currently injury free

• Never ran an official 5K race

• Ran a half marathon race in April 2024, achieving a time of 2:03:56. However this was after being ill for around 4 weeks and not being able to train properly.

• Have been running with varying consistency for ~18 months
