No one actually likes listening to Dan. His voice is annoying and he constantly scrapes for attention but giving intentionally obtuse takes. Destiny placates him because Dan gives him money. The audience placates him because they mimic Destiny.

@FoxCollison I don't think Dan has given him money in a long time. When Dan gave Destiny, it was when he was a viewer which was probably pre-2015. Also, I would say most of the community loves Dan and Dan is a close friend of Destiny.

@PunishedFurry It’s a hivemind thing, as it always is with Destiny’s chat. And even if Dan isn’t giving cash anymore, he’s still a rich connection.
