Market Resolution Criteria

The Manifold prediction market will resolve based strictly on the official 6-digit Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors (FHI) code assigned to the Color of the Year upon its announcement. Resolution Rules: Pantone FHI Code (LL-HH-CC) The winning category will be determined by the official 6-digit code, evaluated in this exact top-to-bottom order to prevent overlaps:

Code Definitions:

• LL (Lightness): 11 (lightest) to 19 (darkest)

• HH (Hue): 00 (neutral) or 01 to 64 (color wheel)

• CC (Chroma): 00 (desaturated) to 64 (vibrant)

Winning Categories:

• White: LL is 11–12 AND CC is 12 or lower.

• Black: LL is 19 AND CC is 10 or lower.

• Grey: LL is 13–18 AND CC is 12 or lower; OR HH is 00.

• Brown: LL is 16–19, HH is 05–18, AND CC is 13–35.

• Pink: HH is 17–24 AND LL is 15 or lower; OR HH is 25–28 AND CC is 35 or lower.

• Yellow: HH is 06–09.

• Orange: HH is 10–16.

• Red: HH is 17–24 AND LL is 16 or higher.

• Purple: HH is 25–38 (excluding shades already caught by Pink).

• Blue: HH is 39–48.

• Green: HH is 49–64 OR HH is 01–05.

• Other: anything that doesn't fall inside the above categories
