Resolves YES if, at any time from market creation through December 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (America/Los_Angeles), Daniela Amodei permanently resigns, is removed or replaced, or otherwise ceases serving as Anthropic's president. A permanent change to another role or the company's dissolution counts. A later return to the presidency does not undo a qualifying departure.
Resolves NO if she remains president throughout that period. Temporary leave, temporary acting coverage, and mere rumors do not count. An announcement before the deadline specifying departure after the deadline does not count unless the actual departure occurs by the deadline.
Resolution will use Anthropic's official announcements or leadership page (https://www.anthropic.com/company/leadership), or multiple credible independent reports establishing that the departure occurred. The deadline is Pacific Time; the market is scheduled to close January 1, 2028 to accommodate that cutoff.
As of market creation, Anthropic lists Daniela Amodei as Co-Founder and President. This market concerns her president role, not Dario Amodei's CEO role.
