As of July 2023, the US is pushing China to do more to stem the flow of fentanyl: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/07/world/asia/us-china-fentanyl.html
Resolves YES if a high-level government official makes a statement praising China's efforts in this area.
I'm not precisely defining "high-level government official" here, but along the lines of the following:
President/VP
Cabinet member or head of major relevant administrative division
Legislative party leader
Chair of a relevant legislative committee
The statement does not need to be perfectly lauditory (e.g. it can include calls for additional effort in particular areas), but must be broadly positive.
Since resolution may involve some amount of judgement, I will not bet in this market.

I'm resolving as 50% due to this statement from Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on April 26, 2024:
the U.S. and China have set up a joint Counternarcotics Working Group to collaborate on policy making and on law enforcement, and to share technical expertise. Thanks in large part to the working group’s efforts, China is providing information to international law enforcement that can be used to track and intercept illicit drugs and their precursors, and our two governments recently agreed to share best practices on closing loopholes in our financial systems that the drug traffickers and other criminal enterprises use to launder money.

I selected 50% on the reasoning that Blinken praised the efforts of the working group, and China gets half credit as half of the working group.
Gemini was able to find other weakly positive statements, but none that seem (to me) to qualify as praising China's efforts.
