Resolves YES if during his visit to Proof School on May 17, @Austin makes a statement regarding the numbers 16 and 17 that puts one above the other. Resolves NO if he does not express a clear preference. If Austin doesn't end up visiting on May 17, resolves N/A.
Whether or not a statement is "a clear preference" is something I will decide using my best judgement. I don't have a preference between the two numbers (18 is infinitely better than both tbh), so hopefully it should be pretty fair. I'll also be open to hearing arguments should this become a point of contention.
To confirm Austin actually said such a thing, any statement is only valid if 1. Austin himself confirms that he said it, 2. someone with a trustworthy-ish badge can confirm that they were present and witnessed Austin say it (so basically only @Conflux), or 3. there is a general concensus that Austin said it (again, sort of ambiguous but I'm sure we'll make it work).
