By market close, in 2 years, will it be possible to acquire a Framework laptop with a trackpoint? Doesn't have to be "official", a 3rd party supplier of a keyboard module would be accepted. For the purposes of resolution, it doesn't matter how many physical mouse buttons there are (but, obviously, three's the only right number).
The demand is definitely there, but currently it's being ruled out. See https://community.frame.work/t/responded-any-chance-of-trackpoint/1026

Update 2025-09-15 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - A qualifying solution must be purchasable: you must be able to buy a trackpoint keyboard/module/kit. Prototypes or DIY-only instructions without a product for sale do not count.
Self-assembly by the buyer is allowed.

This project lets you retrofit a Thinkpad keyboard with a trackpoint onto a Framework. Requires a bit of assembly work but people seem to be using it in the linked forum post.
@wasabipesto That's still in the prototype phase, I'd say. It should be possible to acquire (buy) and (optionally) assemble (by yourself) the trackpoint keyboard. I've extended the close time.
