What does "decided" mean?

How is the precise time decided?

@DottedCalculator I think the team is decided when the 6th person accepts the invite. But typically the calls all go out in the evening, right? At least, that's what happened back in my day.

I remember when Po-Shen called me one evening in May...

@hannah Well, back in my day, the USAMO was in late April. In fact, it was in April as recently as 2021.

@hannah the problem is that last year I don't think I got any actual invite, just a phone call
