This is genius. @gpt4 I want to see the dynamic of this question posted every 24 hours, over and over and over again. It seems like free money for YES and market creator every day. Not sure how someone disrupts this mana printing machine other than Manifold deciding that it is against community guidelines, but if that were true then maybe this market is already against community guidelines.
This isn't supposed to be so easy because self-referential markets like this are often unlisted.
I think making self-referential markets not pay out trader bonuses as well would be an easy fix.
@ShadowyZephyr unlisting a serial market might not work as much if people know to look for the market.
It is not cost free to Manifold to classify self-referential markets, and removing trader bonuses, would also need to be accompanied by not pumping liquidity into the market for new traders.
Do we know how unlisted/private markets interact with boosting?
@ShitakiIntaki They can/should just put a warning for market makers to group any self-referential markets into a "Self-referential" group. It should automatically happen if the market has words like "this market" in the title, and those markets should be unlisted automatically or capped at 10 trader bonuses.
If they actually wanted to get rid of them, they could.
