Will I love Juniper (incoming cat) 80% as much as Cooper (cat who is leaving) after 3 months of cohabitation?

Cooper is the cat of a housemate who is leaving. I am very attached to him. Juniper is the cat of a person who is moving in.

I have lived with Cooper since winter 2020. He was the first cat I've ever lived with. He is

  • quiet (basically never meows)

  • aggressive (attacks our feet/hands – given the lightness of the attacks I believe he "intends" to be playing, but doesn't have good play etiquette)

  • social in that he always gravitates towards the room his housemates are hanging out in, sometimes breaking into the room to enter. He regularly butts his head against my leg to say hi but is pretty offended if I initiate contact

  • antisocial in that he hates to be petted and rarely cuddles (he attacks in response to 80% of petting initiations)

  • nonzero cuddly (curl up on top of me or right against me). He does this about 5-15 times a year, a rate I believe has inflated my affection for him via intermittent reinforcement

  • unfortunately a shockingly good looking cat

Juniper is

  • sometimes chirpy (I find this adorable), chirps to say hi

  • not at all aggressive

  • easily terrified (unexpected noises or movements can get her to sprint out of the room)

  • antisocial in that she never does the thing where she butts your leg with her face to say hi, or makes a really noticeable effort the way Cooper does to be in the same room as other people

  • "social" in that she's often fond/tolerant of being petted and scritched

  • not a cuddler

  • less good looking, although I find most cats nice to look at

I value all of: hearing cat chirps, having cat initiate physical contact, being able to pet cat, cuddling cat. Unclear how much I will like the low-variance new cat compared to the high-variance previous cat.

3 months isn't very long, I'd bet higher with a longer time horizon

Cooper sounds like a really great cat.

@lukres note: my spouse who has lived with 4 cats total says he is the unfriendliest cat he's lived with

@etirabys that just means Cooper is being authentic
