Idk y'all I really don't know if Midnights is gonna get it. I know everyone's saying yes, but Th record and SOS have swept in their respective categories and Tay has only won one Grammy tonight.

@UniversalFC definitely the category I'm most uncertain on. Everyone feels so certain about Taylor winning it but I really feel like the energy of the academy is moving against the hype this year and is comparing her to her own past works

I will say Taylor Swift most likely to be nominated and win and reasoning will be

• Historically, the genre most favored to win this category is pop, with 20 awards (1), compared to rock & alternative, with 11 awards. Boygenius, Paramore, Mitski, Pj Harvey, and Lana are from this last category, which reduces its chances just by the type of genre.

• This left us with Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and Jessie Ware. Among the three, Taylor has more nominations to the Grammys. She has won 2 out of 3 nominations for this category in the last ten years (.2), making her the most likely to get nominated and win it.

• SZA would be competition, but R&B has not been a genre popular in this category. Over the years, there were only six winners in this category.

(It's just not a very good follow-up to folklore, evermore, and Red (Taylor's Version)...I was super underwhelmed, especially because folklore and evermore are what got me into her music in the first place.)
