Update 2026-03-07 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The SGA leads the league in free throws question resolves based on Free Throws Made (FTM), not Free Throws Attempted.
Update 2026-03-07 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): EPM (Estimated Plus/Minus) will resolve based on actual EPM, not expected EPM.
Update 2026-05-17 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For the 'At least 3 coaches are fired before the playoffs' sub-question: Chauncey Billups being placed on administrative leave may not count as a firing, and Doc Rivers (not clearly forced out) would not count. The market leans toward resolving NO unless 3 clear firings are confirmed.
Update 2026-05-17 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For the 'At least 3 coaches are fired before the playoff starts' question: Chauncey Billups will only count as fired once he is officially replaced (e.g., when Wikipedia updates his status), not from when he was placed on administrative leave.
Update 2026-05-17 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Doc Rivers' departure will count as a firing for resolution purposes, even though it was described in euphemistic terms.

@AnonymousMan @diadematus I disagree with this. Chauncey Billups is clearly a firing,. It is only because the trial has yet to begin are the blazers obligated to avoid listing it as such but for all intents and purposes being placed on administrative leave with no possibility of return should count as being fired. Particularly paired with comments from the Trailblazers ownership that they are currently explicitly undergoing a search for a permanent new head coach
@ShaneBo at least Wikipedia disagrees? Also since Doc was not clearly forced out, the market would still resolve NO?

@diadematus Doc's departure is widely reported as a firing, and as I noted Billups firing will be "official" as soon as a plea deal or trial ends, but it is clearly understood as a firing from all ownership communication, their head coaching search, and general reporting:

there are some semantics about being asked to step down versus being fired, but wouldn't you agree that if ownership is ending employment for a coach ahead of the term of the contract that is effectively a firing?
@ShaneBo if Billups firing is official once he's replaced then that is when the firing will occur. Then for example wikipedia will update their description of him. Are you trying to say he was already fired, but will be fired 'officially' once more?
He has already be fired. But there is a legal barrier due to the trial for the trailblazers to only note this as "official". As soon as this happens Wikipedia will update this. I think given this is a well established situation that you could resolve this now based on this common knowledge, however it needs to at least be kept open until the trial starts or the plea deal is put in. As the firing date will be noted by the trail blazers as "for cause" at the start of the indefinite leave which was last year
@ShaneBo wtf are you saying dawg. he has already been fired, but we have to wait for his trial to find out? then he hasn't been fired?
@diadematus unless you mean as soon the legal threshold is met, the Blazers will come out to say we fired him in November?
@diadematus . Yes he has been fired, everyone understand this to be the case. Only the trailblazers are not allowed to say this. They will announce he was fired as of when they put him on leave which was last year in October as soon as plea is entered.
There is more than enough information to make the call now, but if you feel obligated to have the Wikipedia updated despite the common knowledge then I am saying you should at least wait until that time
@diadematus look at almost any reporting on the issue they all say the same thing, read the article I attached, watch a youtube video about the situation? I'll link a few more, but if you just google it you'll get the same info
@ShaneBo https://sports.yahoo.com/article/chauncey-billups-basically-already-fired-152341647.html
here is a quick rundown:
As of October he was placed on indefinite leave, with pay frozen(the effective termination). With the pay freeze the blazers have locked in a an official date for dismissal for all pay and contractual purposes(i'll attach some explainers

Contract does not allow for "for cause" dismissal prior to official guilty verdict or plea(blazers have to hold "officially" but have already moved on
Blazers hired Tiago Splitter as "interim"
Blazers ownership has announced long term coaching search

Gemini's explainer summarizes the above better.
I
@diadematus also dude, I can understand having a disagreement on legal versus effective termination. Fine, it's your market, but I don't get the accusations. This is clearly pretty analogous to the doc situation. Where Doc wants to say he stepped down , but everyone knows its a firing, it will be marked as such, and it's just semantics. I'ts the same deal here, everyone understands Billups is done for, the nba won't let him coach again, the blazers moved on, its just legalese.
@diadematus Can you clarify that SGA "leads the league in total free throws" questions mean Free throws attempted and not freethrows made?
