We don't know all the details yet, but it appears to take place after Sixth of the Dusk and one of the two narratives has characters from the previous book. Not exactly a sequel but I'm inclined to resolve this yes unless anyone wants to persuade me otherwise.

Could you elaborate a bit on what you will count as a direct sequel? For example, would you count any book in the Drominad system a sequel or do you require something more specific (common character/common main character/title contains "sixth of the dusk"/same planet)?

Nvm: looked up "direct sequel" on the net and it does require the plot to pick up immediately after the previous one. If you disagree please say so before today's title reveal, because I bought NO anticipating Kingmaker. (I'm around 95% Drominad)

@koadma it would need to be a continuation of story in some way from. Sixth if the Dusk (as you mentioned, common characters or title). Taking place in the Drominad system wouldnt be sufficient.
