(embarassingly enough) never made aime because a) i'm not really a comp math person (i do comps a lot but never prepare bc i do it more for funsies) and b) i never prepare. math level is definitely there
this market is more motivation for me to grind enough to make aime. i always come within one or two questions and i probably should've qualified this year. but my goal is to dump loads of my money on this market so i can motivate myself ("loads" meaning not actually that much bc i'm broke). feel free to bet for or against me.
i will only ever bet YES. and i will only sell if a) i need mana (in which case i won't sell that much) or b) the market is severely overpriced (i'll always keep it below 80% unless it means that i will hold a NO position).
if i were to take the AMC right now i'd put my odds at maybe 30% ish and my hope is that i can semicomfortably get 115+ on practice tests.

@pkpr i did. answered a decent amount but i didn't check answers and did some guessing (semi-educatedly) so i do know i got a fair amount wrong as well.
@cece i would not be surprised if i made aime from the b; i would not be surprised if i did not make aime. it's kind of a toss-up tbh
update: just took the 2010 amc a, and it's disappointing because i sillied two problems that i had all the logic for but read the question wrong (i.e. it asked for how many of something there was and i answered how many there weren't) but otherwise i got everything right. i blame it on the pdf formatting.
the cutoff for 2010's amc a was 118.5 and without mistakes i would've gotten 132 but with them i got 120. it's worth noting that 2010 was a lot easier than recent years and i didn't constrain time too much (as it was more about learning than about taking the test). standard amc time is 90 minutes and i used <2 hours but beyond that i'm not really sure (a fraction of it was spent eating lunch and watching pointless youtube which could be interpreted as more or less impressive- you decide).
i also guessed (pretty educated-ly) on one of the problems if anyone cares
@cece i mean AIM AIME is still pretty fine, since if you don't qualify, resolution criteria still makes sense... but you wont have to worry about that outcome.
