On 17 Nov 2023 the board of directors of OpenAI fired Sam Altman as CEO and demoted the board's chairman Greg Brockman, who quit shortly thereafter.

OpenAI has a unique governance structure with an independent board of directors.

Who will be the members of OpenAI's board of directors one year after the removal of Sam Altman as CEO?

This question does resolves to all the named individuals who are on the board of directors of OpenAI the Monday morning 18 Nov 2024 (9am PST), or resolves to "no one" if for whatever reason OpenAI has no board of directors or there are no members on the board. Named individuals who are non-voting observers count as "members" who are "on" the board for the purposes of this question.

OpenAI lists the members of its board of directors publicly at the bottom of its "Our structure" page on their website.

You guys are all sleeping on Adam Daan Jello 😅

Please note that I have updated the question description to clarify that named individuals who are non-voting observers count as being "on" the board (as per a response to a question about the 1 Jan 2024 version of this question).

Bret Taylor:
"Before taking on this responsibility, I had a full plate of commitments. As I have communicated to board colleagues and management, when these transitional tasks have been completed, I intend to step away and leave the oversight of OpenAI in the good hands of board colleagues."
