@HarlanStewart the palm islands are cringe but the pearl island is a bit closer to what i was imagining.


I think Rokkō Island is probably my favorite, resolving YES. This question was really just a way to get people to do research for me :)

This question is partly lazyweb because I don't want to search for if they already exist. I know there's lots of flotillas and/or stilt houses close to shore in a lot of places, but I think they should probably not be floating, and one should be able to walk on the landmass below them
