Pangdonglai is widely considered to be the best supermarket in China, with it having a big presense in Xuchang, the founder's hometown. Their products are cheap and high-quality, with great customer service. Don't ask me, people take high-speed trains 500km away to go to that particular supermarket.

However, their founders have committed to staying in Xuchang, even though it's a small city, since they don't want to compete with other supermarkets.

Will they never expand, or will they change their mind/get new leadership which will expand into new areas?
