Will I be able to use the UDP protocol on my VPN app to connect continuously until the end of February?

Resolved
YES

This is about my home network.

I use Windscribe for my VPN. I usually connect to the WStunnel protocol, which always works and has faster speed than the other protocol, Stealth, which also always works, but has absolutely horrible speeds.

When I was fiddling with changing the protocol yesterday night, I realized that I could use UDP to connect, which gives me much faster speeds!

There's this rough hierarchy of VPN protocols from most desirable to least:

  1. WireGuard (Failed)

  2. IKEv2 (Failed)

  3. UDP

  4. TCP (Failed)

  5. WStunnel

  6. Stealth

Resolves YES if I don't find myself having to change protocol from UDP to connect to my VPN at home, resolves NO if that happens at least one time in the next 4 days.

I've been able to use it so far, so if tomorrow night goes without any surprises, this resolves YES.

If UDP is down but WStunnel and Stealth also do not work, this will still resolve YES when I eventually connect to my VPN again.

UDP:

WStunnel:

(Download speed was 0.1 Mbps and ping was around 380, then I got this error)

Stealth:

(Ping was around 3800, and we didn't make it to the download test)
