So, the print edition front page from this morning does (extremely briefly) mention the DNC being prepared for potential protesters but I don’t think that counts for the purposes of this market (a good reason for me not betting in this market is so I can be clear-eyed about this). One reason this doesn’t count is it doesn’t mention an actual protest, technically, just that “leaders are prepared amid EXPECTATIONS for large rallies”.
The protests haven’t occurred yet, nor has the DNC kicked off yet. But tomorrow’s front page would count if they are mentioned, even if they’re mentioned negatively (say, that protests fizzled or were small!).
(As I say this I bought 1 mana of YES and then sold it for 0 mana at a loss, to boost trader count so I can make partner :P hope no one minds this egregious market manipulation)
