Sometimes I leave my house and then re-enter it via a different door so that I can skip a connecting room that has people I don't want to talk to (it's a kind of long house).

I often intentionally eat my meals alone in my room even if others are hanging out in the kitchen because I know I'll lose a bunch of time if I start chatting

At one of my past jobs, one of my coworkers was a little bit loud and annoying (and ultra conservative, complained all the time, etc). I would shift over to the other side of my work station closer to a humming food station to drown her out.
