Someone just canceled a bag (I'm assuming cause there was a 12.5% jump in cancels.)

None of the leather bag holders have forfeited or sold their tokens yet, and I think that will be what ultimately decides the cow's fate.

I'm trying to understand the motivations of the token holders: 50% (by vote share) of the holders have tokens for burgers (400 total), bought for $35, currently selling for $200+ on StockX, and receiving 9 burgers or nothing. I guess they're holding out for higher prices from people who think it's worth $200 * 400 tokens to save a single cow? Or $200 to be part of an attempt to save it.

The remaining votes of the four "bag holders" seem more important: They paid $1200, and might value the rare bag much higher. So far, they've neither cancelled nor listed their tokens on StockX. By vote share, a bag token is worth 100x a burger token (so $20k?) and represents 12.5% of the total vote or a quarter of the way to the threshold.

By contrast, to save a cow elsewhere, you could pay around $1k for a yearling and pay $250/month (found online but seems high) to keep it at a sanctuary, so $46k for a 15 year life. But I doubt the people considering paying will be doing this analysis.

if you want to save the life of the cow but wouldn't mind getting the bag/burger there's no risk in canceling your pre-order. it's not a real cancelation: if he's slaughtered everyone gets the reward regardless

T&C's say "The Handbag Token also allows the token purchaser the option to cancel their Handbag by submitting its unique Cow Code into the Remorse Portal of OurCowAngus.com anytime before the Slaughter date. Canceling the Handbag by this method, which is non-reversible, constitutes a Salvation Vote, which voids the delivery of the Handbag and forfeits any rights of ownership of the Handbag. Put another way, once you purchase a Handbag Token you can’t get your money back; and if you cancel your Handbag you won’t get a Handbag."

hmm interesting. I didn't read the T&Cs, but the site used to say that everyone received the items even if they cancelled (unless 50%+ do). they seem to have changed that now

Total income from token sales $18,800 for one cow which may or may not be slaughtered. The tokens for "Our Cow Angus" definitely has whale market vibes.

if you read the terms of service, I found this line to really encapsulate the transaction.

Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms shall not be construed against the drafting party.

The use of guarantee seems ambiguous given typical meaning of "guarantee" since there is a possibility that no cow products get delivered.

A Burger Token guarantees the delivery of pre-ordered single 3-pack of frozen ground hamburger patties (“Hamburger 3-pack”)

If you redeem any token for salvation in the redemption portal, then it seems to invalidate any an all other tokens you might also hold or later acquire.

Token Holders who cast any percentage of Salvation Votes will not be entitled to receive Hamburger 3-packs, Handbags, or any other form of remuneration.

This resolves as YES immediately when 50% is reached, or NO on 3/14/2026 otherwise.

Maybe only slightly ambiguous, but perhapse worth saying aloud, the 50% is not this market's trading probability, but rather 50% of Angus tokens redeemed as remorse shares rather than send shares, right?

"happy cow life" How happy are we talking here? Muddy pen, petting zoo, or big grassy pasture with other cows?

Angus is male. If he's to have friends and not be locked up forever, I imagine he'll have to get castrated. But I have no idea how that sanctuary works.

I don't think cancellations are available yet by the way, the form seems disabled.
