MSCHF sold 400 physical tokens for $35 representing a pre-order of 9 burgers made from Angus, a calf born in early 2024. Angus is scheduled to be slaughtered in March 2026, unless at least 50% of token holders cancel their pre-orders, in which case Angus will live a happy cow life ever after and the tokens are redeemable for nothing. There are also 4 tokens with 100x the voting rights that are redeemable for leather bags.
This resolves as YES immediately when 50% of voting shares are committed to cancel, or NO on 3/14/2026 otherwise.

Does anyone else suspect that the organizers took measures to guarantee this outcome? Nobody will get their money back. I think it would be cheaper to keep Angus alive than to produce and ship all those burgers and bags.
@HankyUSA frankly they would have been pretty silly not to have some kind of insurance in place, a couple of bags, say - whether they needed to use it or not I have no idea
1.1%p or 9 burger tokens to go. This Reddit thread includes an offer from the person who cancelled the bag to buy any burger tokens: https://www.reddit.com/r/mschf/comments/1rsb5ux/stock_x/
Someone needs to introduce this guy to EA...
@Stralor I think it's possible this is a scam in which the organizers guaranteed that they won't have to actually ship anything.
@bence whoa, can't find mention of this on r/mschf or twitter. I'm surprised someone would cancel without advertising their decision to encourage others
