This market resolves YES if, during any match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup (including the opening match, group stage, knockout stage, third-place match, and final), at least one spectator or unauthorized person enters the field of play and causes play to be stopped, delayed, or otherwise interrupted.
This market resolves NO if no such incident occurs during the tournament.
Resolution will be based on widely reported video evidence and/or reporting from major news organizations.
Pitch invasions by players, coaches, team staff, referees, security personnel, or other authorized personnel do not count.
If a spectator briefly enters the field after the final whistle and before official match completion, it will count only if major media outlets describe the incident as a pitch invasion.
Resolution will be based on:
Official FIFA match reports.
Broadcast footage from the official World Cup broadcaster.
Reporting from major news organizations (e.g. Reuters, AP, BBC, ESPN, The Athletic).
Video evidence from reputable sources.
If there is ambiguity, the resolution will follow the preponderance of credible reporting.
