Will post screenshot of application result and in rare case case of yes, but not attend will share the other program that will take place insted of BWSI
Update 2025-04-30 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): * Being placed on the waitlist (any waitlist outcome) is the relevant result for resolution.
Outcomes after being waitlisted (such as acceptance from the waitlist) will not impact resolution, as the market closes before these are likely to be known.
Update 2025-04-30 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): * The market resolution relies on the program proceeding as planned according to the official timeline (https://bwsi.mit.edu/apply-now/).
If the program is canceled or another unforeseen major event occurs, this may affect the market's resolution.
Will bet my own predictions based on if i get into this program and if i get into a big research program also released tmrw or not

assuming the usual acceptance rate, if the average applicant is near this level or more some, then alot of people who are incredible smart or talented just like you would be rejected, the odds on this market make no logical sense , id hedge even if your within the criteria of applicants your more likely to be denied then accepted due to such extreme low acceptance rates, high applicant count and how boosted youth resumes have become.
if anything the personal bias of the yes holders is diabolical.
@bananaLtsnh I think you need to write some more specific criteria if you want ppl to bet on this market
@bananaLtsnh does “waitlist” mean “waitlisted and then rejected”, “waitlisted and then accepted”, or “waitlisted and then any outcome”?
@bens either any waitlisted, cause this resolves tmrw. Waitlisted then accepted would be later after this ends so no impact
@bens yeh unless they canceled the program or something crazy happens btw timeline in here https://bwsi.mit.edu/apply-now/
