Will I beat ToTK faster than I have beaten BoTW?

NO

My fastest time in BoTW is 36:44, which would place me in the top 350 of all submitted runs. my best all time record for any speedrun was a top 10 (sub 30 min) for the 8bit run in the Messenger. I don't submit runs to the leaderboard since I don't know how to set up/record/etc, and I also dont care too much about the competition between others, moreso for my own sake of enjoyment. ive tried speedrunning other games (A short hike was one of the more fun ones), and i find it fun overall.

Current dry runs for ToTK any% seems to be sub 90 minutes. I've seen interesting mechanics to do with the physics, and an interesting avenue that I was wondering if anyone could figure out is how to skip the main sky island, as there are ways to generate velocity through bullet time tricks (although this may require the paraglider for horizontal momentum), or recall combined with ultrahand to generate thrust (although when you get recall, you're already a little bit into the sky island). glitch hunting is pretty fun, so i hope people find it. i will be using the rule set set by speedrun.com, most likely under NMG.

you could also think of this as "is there an 'easy' enough routing that will be utilized to be totk such that it is sub 35." i personally doubt we will see that progress in this year since a ton of weapons are needed for the bosses with the durability, but we will see! maybe there will be a way to clip into a final boss trigger (highly doubt it).

this post should not contain spoilers that are not already fairly common knowledge to anyone watching trailers.
