Sometimes someone who a lot of people hate/dislike says or does something that makes a lot of people who didn't like them dislike them less. Like when someone with a reputation for being an annoying political hardliner makes a call for their own side to be civil or better-mannered. If someone who's a political hardliner unexpectedly says something that makes their former enemies like them more and their former friends not like them anymore then that counts.
If someone is redeemed by outside reconsideration and not their own actions then that counts. Like if someone who is thought to have done something bad is found to not have actually done it, or something like that.
I guess if someone who a lot of people dislike as an actor redeems themselves with a great performance in something then that counts too.

I choose what counts. People are allowed to try to convince me.
Hatred is a really bad emotion. There is an alternate Earth where almost everyone is good at not willingly harboring hate for anyone.
People are also trading
@EzraSchott Mostly, though it’d be helpful to have some examples of people who you’d consider to be redeemed at specific times!
@Conflux I guess a lot of people on the right started to kinda like JK Rowling after the trans controversy.
People on the left hated Kyle Rittenhouse less as the trial clarified things.
Uh... People like Keanu now when he used to be sort of thought of as lame.
Brianna Wu tweeted something about people on the left should exercise more restraint and not be unnecessarily toxic, which I would imagine got a lot of people who didn't like her to revise their opinions of her.
A sexual assault allegation which crumbles to one degree or another would count for this.
etc etc
I don't know, maybe this was a dumb idea for a market.
@asmith yeah it's a dumb idea because I don't see how you're going to quantify any of it. I'm going to give you two long shot bets anyway, just for the comedy.
