When WWDC23 begins or 24 hrs after the event closure
If AAPL price is 5% lower than historical all time high - solves YES
if price is not lower tha 5% from historical all time high - solves NO
Price here: https://www.google.com/finance/quote/AAPL:NASDAQ?window=5D
184.95 all time high recently fell to <s>179.11</s>178.04 low recently after the ath earlier today. a fall of $<s>5.84</s>6.91 is not 5% but more than half way there so claim should be over 50% ;) ?
During in title suggest any time this week. Description possibly suggests only two times are checked.
Is "all time high" highest intraday high or closing high or something else?
Suppose price 10am PT (when I think WWDC23 starts?) is $184. If price increases to $198 by end of week does this cause a true resolution? That would be a bit weird.
@ChristopherRandles I think would need to fall to $175.70 (if todayβs $184.95 remains ATH [updated]) to resolve YES. Not sure about time window, whether by tomorrow or end of week. But most importantly, thereβs good reasons not to bet much in any of this authorβs markets.
(edit: oops ATH break as I type this lol)
@ChristopherRandles -5% from all time high means if the current price is ath need to go down to ~175 - but if the price go let's say to 200, then need to drop to 190... Timeframe is till June 9 - got it?
@alby So we will only know by Nasdaq close on Friday 4 PM Eastern, 1 PM Pacific? Thatβs when weβll have a definitive ATH and we then check the lowest price reached after that, if it was -5% or not, right? Regular market session only (9:30 AM - 4 PM Eastern)?
@alby I think it would just seem easier if the claim specified that
the relevant all time high is that immediately before WWDC23 opens (or Daniel Tello version above or something else clearly specified), and
What you consider to be the opening and closing time, and
Had consistency about whether it is at any time in this period or only checked at these two points in time.
@ChristopherRandles no, because WWDC goes on and new ath could come also during the event.
