Will there be a new visa category that allows visa holders to work in the US? Category meaning like H-1B, EB-1, O-1, or a program like the International Entrepreneur Rule even though that's technically not a visa.
Expanding the criteria for an existing type doesn't count. Gold Cards don't count for this question since they've already been announced. Must be available to people from most countries.
I believe the most recent examples that would qualify would be:
International Entrepreneur Rule (2017) - not formally a visa, this is an alternative immigration pathway for foreign entrepreneurs
S Visa (2001) - For informants in terrorism or criminal cases
T Visa (2000) - For victims of human trafficking
U Visa (2000) - For victims of certain crimes who assist law enforcement
K-3/K-4 Visas (2000) - For spouses and children of U.S. citizens awaiting immigrant visa processing
V Visa (2000) - For spouses and children of permanent residents with long-pending petitions
