Resolves YES if this happens at least once before market close. Apartment is next to a few potential sources of noise. May 31, 8:39am: after day 1, there was bit of bass from music, but it didn't keep me from falling asleep. (was more of a problem with cold because didn't buy blanket yet. resolving soon.) May 31, 8:39am: ^- resolving the blanket problem soon Jun 1, 12:29am: tonight seems headed a good direction. no noise outside.

I have had trouble sleeping at least once, because of a noise problem that can be expected semi-regularly.
Noise is always the scariest part of moving into a new place for me 😬 gl!
If there's genuinely a 50% chance of noticing a sleep disruption then that's a high chance of disrupted sleep that you don't consciously notice and you should get a white noise machine or similar. At which point the odds that you'll consciously notice disrupted sleep also go down, and I win my bet.
Will you use a white noise generator?
@MartinRandall not planning to use one. Don't own one. Might get one if problem materializes.
