got the visa in my passport, this is happening unless something catastrophic happens in the next ~week and somehow i can't enter us on that visa

Currently on a J1. Resolves YES if by market close I've managed to convert it to a H1b. I already got approved, I just gotta fill out the paperwork, go to the interview at my original embassy or get change of status. This is bottlenecked on my energy.

Also resolves Yes if I happen to be temporarily travelling out of USA at market close but overall have the H1b in my passport and plan to enter USA on it.

2023-01-11: I've got the paperwork hopefully all filed. Next step is to go to Europe to get the visa and I am planning to do this before end of May.
